That 70’s Show star Danny Masterson charged with Three counts of Rape

Danny Masterson, An actor from That 70’s Show has been charged with the alleged rapes of three women in the early 2000s, his bail has been set at US4.7 Million

A three-year investigation into 44 year old Danny Masterson have resulted in three charges of rape by force or fear being filed against the actor.

The charges were officially filed on Tuesday and Masterson was arrested at his home on late Wednesday morning. Records show He was being held on US$4.7 million bail.

Masterson, who played Steven Hyde on That ‘70s Show for 8 seasons, is charged with the rapes of a 23-year-old woman in 2001, a 23-year-old woman in late 2003 and a 28-year-old woman in early 2003

“We’re confident that he will be exonerated when all the evidence finally comes to light and witnesses have the opportunity to testify,” Mastertons Lawyer Tom Mesereau said.

“Obviously, Mr Masterson and his wife are in complete shock considering that these nearly 20-year old allegations are suddenly resulting in charges being filed, but they and their family are comforted knowing that ultimately the truth will come out,“ Mesereau said in a statement. “The people who know Mr Masterson know his character and know the allegations to be false.” Mesereau further added.

Masterson starred alongside Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, Mila Kunis, Laura Prepon and Topher Grace in the comedy That 70’s Show between 1998 to 2006, which was when the alleged rapes took place.
